From what I can gather reading here....

Bitcoins cant be caught in "limbo" youll get yet coins be patient.

Could you inform us when the transaction occurs. 24 hrs is a long time.

The transaction occurred right away.  The OP is just waiting for a confirmation.  Since the transaction includes an output of 0.00005 BTC, and did not include a fee, most miners will consider it to be "low priority".  As such it could take several days for it to confirm.  Depending on the wallet that the OP is using, it may expire eventually and the bitcoins will just return to the wallet, or the transaction could sit out there continuously waiting for a confirmation.

If the OP used a wallet that will continue to re-transmit the transaction until it is confirmed, then there are things a technically knowledgeable person could do to help.  If they aren't capable of doing it themselves then they'll have to find someone they can trust, since they'll have to turn over their private keys or wallet file to the person to create the transaction that would free up those bitcoins.

All good now - they refunded the cash to my wallet and the transaction disappeared.
