I do not know how to mine Simcoin. Anywhere I did not find any more information about Sim.
It's algo scrypt, but it does not work either through cgminer or cpu miner. Still miner reports problems with the server.
It's already listed on novaexchange: https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_SIM/.
According to console: "proof-of-work": 0.00027422, "proof-of-stake": 3.19144674
So it's probably in the POS phase. But no info anywhere. I would be grateful if the dev put some opinion.

It surprises me, 70% premined and it is listed at novaexchange now. I see it is just listing because there is no sell order yet but some buy orders.

There are too many Premine, and if there isn't a good plan, I think more information should be needed to get people to pay attention, otherwise it would be a meaningless issue.

ok after reading the comments, i guess i wasn't wrong to think that a 70% premine with no known or mention of a total coin allocation is nuts, who launches a coin with 70% premined, are you airdropping 90% of those? If so whats the point of using the coin

it wasn't "launched premined"
when a coin is described as "pre-mine" it means the first block starts at [xx.xxxxxxxx] supply rather than zero.  there is no "total supply" since the coin is PoS after the remaining 30% of mine-able blocks are found... total supply with pos coins only refers to the mineable blocks before it switches over to PoS
