So no one uses the good old Bitcoin QT wallet anymore huh?

I use it, with careful backup.  I find it handy to encrypt the backup and store it somewhere like dropbox.  That way its safe from prying eyes but also safe from the computer exploding/house burning down.

Mix it up. Online wallet for your coinpurse, paper wallet for your bank account.

This. Though I don't quite have enough funds to warrant using a paper wallet just yet, but hopefully one day.

Brainwallets. Make a copy of http://bitaddress.org. Run it offline.

I run it on a $35 Raspberry Pi that will never ever be connected to the internet again.

I use Blockchain and I made a backup. In the case that Blockchain blows up I'll restore my coins.

Hello guys, just wondering what the preferred Bitcoin storing method is around here, should I keep them in a online wallet like blockchain.info or keep them on my computer. And should I have it encrypted or put a password on it?

What if you store a copy of your wallet.dat in the cloud? like dropbox, gdrive, livedrive anywhere? Is it safe?

Dont store your wallet in the cloud. Paper is simple to recover and can be double secured (f.e. in a safe). Use more then one wallet (quick payments & long term).
