Why do people complain about Solidity?

A lot of people complain and say that Ethereum sucks because programmers have to learn an 'entirely new' language in order to write smart contracts.

But I don't really see what the problem is. If you understand JavaScript, Solidity is ridiculously easy to learn; It only took me a couple weeks to get the hang of it and is remarkably similar.

And since most programmers already know how to program JavaScript or have some basic understanding of it I really don't see why people complain.

in accordance with the above explanation, it is natural if there is a complaint they are not familiar and have not understood.essentially need to learn and must adapt.
