Hi. Is it possible to use different PSU for pci-e power than I am using for motherboard or will that risk ruining my mother board / card?

Yes this is possible, you will have to put a pin (paper clip or something similar) into green and black pin slots on the ATX connector, one end of the pin goes into the green cable slot the other end into the black one. Make sure you isolate the pin with tape. Also the first PSU you will want to turn on would be the MOBO PSU then PCI-e PSU.
