I am totally new to cryptocurrency and I am not a computer person.

I am trying to sign up for faucet.io and it asks for a bitcoin address. However, anything I place in the box gets rejected and there is no information on the site to help me do it properly. Can someone tell me what to do?

The support info sent me here.

I am clueless about the items you list as needed to request tech support- about eight pieces of information. Your whole site confuses and intimidates me.

I am using a Mac and I do not know the answers to any of your other requirements.

It leaves me feeling that newbies are not welcome here or on faucet. Any suggestions? Please explain in language a non-computer person can understand. And please read and answer my actual question. I ask this because very often I have asked for technical help and the person in the support system answers some other question and not what I asked.

I have an account with coinbase. The wallet apps listed on faucet have been rejected by my Mac as not being available in the App Store.

I am not even sure that I am posting this question properly because this is so different from other support sites I have used. I do not understand the stuff about polling options either.

Thanks.

you mean faucethub.io?

well, you will need your own BTC address first. you get one (or more) with a wallet.

your wallet address is a random string of letters and numbers looking something like this: 1CEkhkjhEWL34LSDFLJJKSKSF3434
(fake adress typed here, just randompalm to keyboard)

I have a little FAQ about how to  claim  free BTC (and other crypto) on my website: freebcc.org/faq.html

also. since you are new to this.

if you need to do more then fill in your address and do the anti-bot (reCaptcha etc) then its a scam. like getting large amounts of free btc then them asking for a small miners fee. some faucets re-direct you to this particular scam.
