Requirements: A graphics card

Sadly none of us know how much you pay for power, or know how much power your computer/GPU uses so we can't answer the last question.

Graphics card either NVIDIA GTX 10x0 series or AMD

Claymore 9.8 miner is probably your best bet but there are others out there.

Enable Dual Mining mode ETH + SIA, then turn down ETH intensity while turning up SIA intensity to maximize your SIA mining hashrate. Evaluate performance and adjust intensity as needed for power usage and temp. Cross check this with your power costs to determine how "cheap" it would be for you.

Yes, I agreed. Dual mining ETH + SIA is much profitable compared to solely SIA only. Electricity cost usually just a little cheap than your profit, but still depends to which country are you in.

You need a graphic card and a miner.
I use Marlin https://siamine.com/marlin to mine only Sia on my HTPC with a GTX 1050 OC'ed. I get about 500MH/s, I will probably switch to Decred using ogminer and just swap them to Sia since I earn more this way.

And since you were just asking for mining Sia exclusively, so  you could use mining software named: Marlin and get more Sc with it then with Claymore dual miner.

https://siamine.com/marlin

Claymore is for mining Eth first + secondary coin like SiA. SiA mining, worth it? We will  See!!
Btw: Marlin miner is super stable with some old Nvidia gtx760 -2gb cards (400 mhs on SiA) here in the past, but as of now SiA price s*cks and maybe the whole SiA concept too. Still holding some SC but have lost faith since the asic announcement made by SiA.... Wondering if SiA could go a lot lower then what it is right now. Big question is: why mining SiA while there's' hundreds of other coins?
