Transferred my Bitcoin from Multibit 0.5.18 to Coinbase after Bitcoin Cash fork.

Thought I was going to get my Bitcoin Cash from Coinbase but now Bitcoin Cash is live on Coinbase, I've realised I was too late in moving it there.

What do I do know? I still have access to my Multibit wallet but it's empty. If I export my private key from there and import it into a Bitcoin Cash-compatible wallet, will my Bitcoin Cash appear there even though I'm importing an empty wallet?

Yes... If you moved AFTER the fork, the BCH will still be on MultiBit keys. Export them and import into a BCH wallet like ElectronCash.

For the record, you're not importing an "empty wallet". The private keys may not have BTC, but on BCH blockchain they have BCH Wink

Thanks very much. Windows Defender won't let me install ElectronCash so I'm going to try Jaxx.
