Hi All,

Need a quick advise here.
I have an option to purchase Antminer L3+ which will be available in the last week of September for $2600 (including PSU). Considering the increase of difficulty of litecoin is it advisable to purchase L3+ or should i get litecoins for this amount and hope it increases in value.

Option 1 : I can get 43 Litecoins for $2800.
Option 2: I can mine using L3+ which as per current difficulty levels should be able to generate 10-14 Litecoins by first month.

Which one of the two would be more profitable purchase?

Thanks

You should do your own math , and make a decision Smiley
1st .. 2600$ for a l3+ is a little bit overpriced Smiley right now you might can mine 10-14 Litecoins by first month , but no one know for sure where the difficulty will be by the end of the September.
2nd .. no one can tell you where the LTC price is going , you can do your own research and make a decision
3rd ... "Which one of the two would be more profitable purchase?" no one can tell you for sure Smiley

Depends on what your plans are. Do you want to sell directly after you mined? Or do you want to HODL? My assesment of the situation is that bitcoin price will continue to rise endlessly troughtout the years. So if you HODL you'll make the best profits. As of LTC, short-term it might be good. But long term i think we'll see a decline.

You also have to think about the electricity cost. And also the "fear" to have a machine running 24/24 7/7 at home.
If I wanted to invest in LTC, I would prefer to buy them instead of mining them :-).
If tomorrow price goes up, your ROI will be faster.

Why would there be fear involved? Cheesy
