Will any of the coins be used for dev funds?  I don’t see it in the distribution.

Yes, we are raising funds to cover all facets related to development costs (paying staff, office space, hardware, servers, deals with exchanges etc). The reason we are looking for such a small amount compared to other ICOs is that we are operating with a small team, and have no desire to be greedy. We've ever bought into the pre-sale ourselves rather than allocating any coins directly to us.

Out of the 200m coins (50m pre-ico, 100m ico, 50m community incentives), will any coins go for future development costs?  I know the money raised from pre-ico / ico will go towards development but my question is whether any coins will be kept by the team after the ico for future development costs.  If so, how many?

None of the coins will be kept for development. We're raising funds for that with the pre-sale and ICO, and we'll have the bounty pool for the community. Any unsold coins or coins that are no longer required in the bounty pool will be burned to lower the total supply. The 150m coins will raise $2.5m which should be sufficient for the foreseeable future.

The only coins owned by the development team are those we purchased for ourselves (our own investment into the project).

Ok.  I really like the concept of this project, but I'm worried that there is less incentive for you guys to deliver if you don't hold a meaningful percentage of the coins (I might be wrong since I don't know how many were purchased by yourselves).  I appreciate your honesty regarding the scam accusations and you may have had nothing to do with it, but it's still odd to see a thread incentivizing people to post here and on telegram for the sake of posting.  It seems to me like the purpose of that was to fake interest in the project.

Sounds promising, let's hope it will be an even bigger success then RaiBlocks. Sounds like you are in need of more developers though.

You're not wrong! Ideally we'd like to find at least one more dev before the testnet is launched, and hopefully we can build up the team more for future development. We'll leverage the community too using bounties though, so that should help out.

I see no reason why we can't match or exceed Raiblock's success Smiley
Hey Wispcoin,
Could you tell me a little about differences between your project and other DAG coins such as RaiBlocks, IOTA, Byteball and Aidos Kuneen? I'm interested in DAG technology and try to watch new projects and also I'm sure that this would be worth information for others as well, thanks.

We're nearing the approach of the simple whitepaper (February 2nd) now, which will have a section outlining the model we've come up with. It won't go into super high level detail (that'll follow with the technical whitepaper on the 15th) but it should answer most of your questions and explain the functional differences between us and other DAG models.
Okay, thank you for your response. I will wait for news about your project. Don't be confused, there are a lot of scam projects, thus people want to know more about projects. Contrary to previous, there's a project which had ninja start and proved its legitimity, named Aidos Kuneen. The result is, we couldn't judge before the end of the day

Hello all, I have a few announcements regarding bounties for you today.

Logo Bounty (7500 WSP)

Our logo bounty has been claimed by Pixelforge, who will also be working with us by providing his graphics design services for our website & whitepapers. We're really excited to have him on board.

You can find the logo https://i.imgur.com/IsLsYMU.jpg. We'll start using this once our website overhaul is ready (should be before the main ICO).

Translation Bounties (3000 WSP for Announcement Thread, 7500 WSP for Simple Whitepaper, 10000 WSP for Technical Whitepaper).

We've had all our translation bounties locked in except for Chinese; if anyone is interested, please get in touch. All other languages are covered at this time, but we'll keep email addresses on record in case something changes. We may also create a 'validation' bounty to let people double check those translations and be paid for their efforts.

Telegram Bounty (1000 WSP for the first 500)

Still ongoing. We've had a little over 150 members so far, which means there are around 350 bounties of 1000 WSP left to be claimed. Simply join our Telegram to participate, we pull member data directly from the group so there's no need for spreadsheets, we'll contact you with your unique ID after the campaign is completed.

That's all for now, and welcome aboard PixelForge Smiley

alright. thanks for the update. btw what do we do with the unique ID? u will PM us via telegram and then we insert the unique ID somewhere to claim it?

We'll set up the new site to have a claim interface. So you'll go on the site, download the wallet and generate an address, then use your unique ID and Wisp public address to claim your coins. We'll also try get a web wallet up for release, plus we should have a couple of exchanges around so you could thereotically transfer them straight to those too using a deposit address.
sounds good! alright then, will bookmark this coin to be the next big thing.  Grin

Site is down and main thread deleted.  Scam?

This is odd that you're promising a DAG privacy coin at the same time as Stone, Azerium, and Manta. You're saying you'll have mainnet complete by March, but you need an ICO to build this. If you're saying it can be complete by March, then you already know how to build the application and you do not need money for it. This seems odd, especially as you've already listed your addresses for payment.

there are so many copy& past projects these days,  they all said it's based on DAG and ZKshark,,, but no products, except asking for donation !!!

It was a copy paste project, a lot invested in this shit, and they just deleted everything
