Hello,

Is there a way to differentiate altcoin addresses one from another?

Is this a well-established rule that litecoin addresses starts with an L, DOGE with a D, Dash with an X, Primecoin wtih an A , etc ?

Also, is there a way to differentiate bitcoin addresses from bitcoin cash ones?

Thank you!

For my experience not. The adresses aim to ptivate keys and with which kind the keys are encrypted and not to the kind of cryptocurrencies, as I understood right. So if you have a multicoin wallet you often get a popup menue what kind of coin you want to send.
