Hey guys!

I've got a lot of time on my hands and I'm deciding to share my CS:GO predictions.

I am not claiming to be someone who can guarantee 100% accuracy nor I am forcing you to bet alongside me.
I do have a lot of experience in the CS:GO scene and I have been following the professional scene for almost 4 years now.
Just sharing my bets.

I will also share a short analysis before each bet.

Good luck, have fun

I'm not sure how many users around here are going to be interested in this sort of thing; believe it or not the demographics around here are not teenage boys for the most part. That being said, I'm personally very interested in this, because I play a lot of ESEA and I try to watch the professional players to become better at competitive CS:GO. It just so happens to be one of the games that I've enjoyed playing since I was younger; it has that nostalgia feel to it, so I don't mind following professional matches especially if there's a little incentive (such as a prediction).

I've never placed a bet on a Counter-Strike match, because I've heard a lot of nonsense about fixed matches and teams throwing games while they bet against themselves. By no means would I be betting on your first prediction, but I definitely will follow along with your predictions and let you know how I feel about the reviews/analysis you're giving for each. I'll be following this thread, and I certainly wish you the best; do you have any history doing this sort of thing (providing "signals")? I'm just curious of the level of prediction/volatility to expect, given your history or lack thereof.

If you don't mind me asking, do you place bets on these predictions or are you simply an avid watcher/follower of the professional scene and seek to give your opinions for others to potentially benefit? Final question, when do you plan on making your first prediction, and will this be a regular thing you maintain?

Counter strike is a big game, alot more then just teenage market.   The game has been around since 1999 so its hardly going to contain just teenage boys, some of them werent alive when it was first made.

CS itself is actually really hard to judge, I find the most predictable bets would be at a major where strategy comes into play.    Online play introduces random factors and players at home who may or may not be ready to actually play fully to their best ability at that moment.
Also not all online matches always count especially, it depends where they are in the league.

I've been betting since C9 nearly beat NIP at cologne in 2014, not sure they ever did as well as that.   Nip then won the major, not been as good since either.   I havent bet as much recently, waiting for a good site to appear and some were restricted by country.

Counter strike is a big game, alot more then just teenage market.   The game has been around since 1999 so its hardly going to contain just teenage boys, some of them werent alive when it was first made.

I wasn't trying to belittle anyone that plays Counter-Strike or the general demographics of the people it attracts. I was just saying that most people around here, even with 1999 being the original release, are uninterested in computer games or video games at all for that matter. A lot of users find that there is no interest when discussing, selling or offering services surrounding video-games; most are more interested in cryptography or something else that doesn't allow for much free time in terms of pursuing a video-game seriously.  I know plenty of grown adults that are hardworking, bill-paying home-owners that play Counter-Strike and watch the events live.

CS:GO in my opinion does for the most part attract younger teenagers, it feels like most of the older players that were playing in 1999 didn't enjoy the different engine and other changes made to their beloved Source. I'm not a teenager, and as I said I play the game so you're preaching to the choir about the broad demographics it reaches. Whenever I hop on Counter-Strike source it seems to be mostly young-adults, but I can't say the same for CS:GO; unless I'm playing ESEA, which is mostly young-adults as well.

By far and away the biggest demographic playing video games all together and specifically CS:GO would definitely be teenage boys though, there just is no disputing that.

CS itself is actually really hard to judge, I find the most predictable bets would be at a major where strategy comes into play.

It is incredibly hard to predict the outcome, because there is variance to everything within this game from human error to bullet-pray variance. Similar to combat sports, it's almost impossible to predict the outcome because the smallest things can change the entire game-play. Once the plan is out the window and chaos ensues, it very rarely matters how polished a strategy is.

We have our own strategies of placing our bets especially when we know the flows of each dice or card. The important is that how you manage to place it in the right place knowing that it is also hard to predict weather you win or not but can also read weather the dice or card goes on. It is the matter of giving of time to read your card and what the players drop for you to understand what other card you drop for you to win the game. We have unique ways on how to place it.

Honestly I gave your post the best attempt I could to understand it in even the slightest manner. I've come up blank, unfortunately and I have no clue what you're talking about or how it relates to the topic we're discussing. There are no "cards" or "dice", I'm completely confused what you're talking about in any capacity. I've read it multiple times and I can't figure out for the life of me why you quoted my post as if you're replying to it.

There is no way you have some secret special strategy for "Cards"/"Dice" in CS:GO, when there is nothing of the sort. There is no way you have a solid strategy for any dice or card games when you are unable to make a coherent reply to a thread only 3-replies long.

Even if the thread was about dice and cards you have given no information, clarification or explanation as to what you're talking about. You talk about a vague strategy without context or explanation; you repeat yourself multiple times and quote my entire post without responding to it in anyway. It seems you quote posts and make irrelevant responses quite regularly, which leads me to believe you're just spamming around the forums without even making an attempt to contribute to these conversations. If you're speaking in deep-tongued metaphors that're going way over my head, then you have my sincerest apologies, but from where I'm standing it just looks like you smashed 10-words in different orders until it made a loosely-associated paragraph.

Have I missed something, or are you just not making much sense?

I actually think that there is a certain demographic here on this forum that does enjoy CS:GO betting, but it's probably just a smaller niche.
Still, I've come across quite a few topics here in the gambling section asking about CS:GO betting with Bitcoin or asking about betting on e-sports in general.

This topic certainly won't have as much interest as regular sportsbetting threads, but I do think OP should post his picks anyway, there's going to be at least some interest.

It's nice to see someone sharing their expertise in analyzing games especially in CS Go as someone posted here that it's quite a small niche but still, every little effort is enough to help someone in need or even just tips. It's going to be appreciated.  Good luck OP

I do think OP should post his picks anyway, there's going to be at least some interest.

There's certainly people interested in CS:GO betting, but I'd feel confident saying that there are people around here that would enjoy "Rock, Paper, Scissors" betting if there was a site or service to support it. I wonder how large that niche would be; I'd be willing to bet that it would be a similar size niche, so while I've seen with my own two eyes the interest in CS:GO betting I am not so sure that the interest necessarily stems from CS:GO. We have more desperate gamblers willing to throw coin at any opportunity than we have CS:GO fans hanging around the forums, at least as far as I know.

Again though, there definitely is interest in OP throwing their picks up here as I am one of those interested. I'd be willing to make small bets alongside, or at the very least watch the games live and keep up with the thread to make sure the picks are held to some degree of integrity. Not to say that OP wouldn't handle them with integrity, but of course it would have some weight if those of us already in the thread maintained our involvement to see this through, whether it's a bust or turns out to be the real deal seems to be our burden to bear at this point.

Still waiting to hear when OP will make their first prediction and I'm looking forward to reading their analysis.
