I was hoping one of the mods can contact me. My original account here was hacked. It is a hero member. I haven't used a ton lately but becoming more active again. I see someone is running a banner add on it. Please send me a pm so we can discuss getting it back. Thank you

Well, that's sad to hear but if you have posted your Bitcoin address from your old account either in a public post or in a personal message then you can recover your account by providing a signed message from the same address.

See this topic for more information: Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords.

Many members produced such proof and they got their account back so hopefully, this will help you too in order to recover your compromised account.

The "report to moderator" button is not used to message moderators about such issues; It is only used to report spam posts on the forum. For account recovery, you must send a pm to Cyrus who would help you recover your account. You must provide a signed message from your old address if you stacked it earlier.

It always sucks when something like this happens. You can never be to secure on the internet. You can contact through PM one of the moderators on this forum section. These are: (Moderators: MiningBuddy, Mitchell, MindlessElectron).  and follow the instructions provided by the person above me.

Unfortunately the chance of you getting back your account is low, in order to be able to get your account back you will need to have signed message from bitcoin address that you used on the forum.
Without it there are no proofs that the account actually belongs to you.
