Hi all, I'm just wondering why some posts are automatically deleted? Is it normal? Actually I've experience it before when I was still a Jr. Member, 2 of my posts went missing. There are also some of here are claiming that they also lost some of their posts. How would we prevent it from happening? or there's a bot that automatically deletes some posts? Thank you for those who will clarify.

There are several reasons to get posts deleted. It is not always neccessary, that posts are spam. There are a few examples, who can delete posts or how spam is detected.

  • There are moderators, who take care about spam posts
  • Also members can report spam to moderators
  • There are spam bots (don't know how they work)
  • Members can open self moderated threads and delete any posts they wish
  • Sometimes threads are deleted and all posts in them
