Just started trying to mine some Altcoin. Have many question.
The case are: using "pooler-cpuminer-2.5.0", and i'm pooling instead of solo,

1. What do you do after you execute the mining program?

2. Does it tell you that a block has been finished?

3. What if lets say you started the mining 3 minute then you exit. is that bad? what does it do? do you still get your share?

4. You get your share after the block is finished or at a specific time?

Thanks in advance. All answer and comment is appreciated

1. What do you do after you execute the mining program?

2. Does it tell you that a block has been finished?

you're using mining pools, it would will tell you if pools hit a block.

3. What if lets say you started the mining 3 minute then you exit. is that bad? what does it do? do you still get your share?

as long you mined and received shares, it is already recorded at the pool.

4. You get your share after the block is finished or at a specific time?

depending on the pool, reward is divided into miners according to their shares, with specific minimum amt of payouts, and with pool fees
