O man what a shitty day and a start to a terrible weekend .Had .1 bitcoin stole form my elctrium light wallet. What even more sick i dont even use this wallet to store coins but as ago between different wallets .Call be paranoid but i dont like transferring coins directly for the exchanges to a bitcoin debit card in my name .Anyway i decide to do what i usually do transfer the coins to my eltrium wallet and then to my bitcoin debit card wallet. While i was waiting for the transfer to be confirmed i decided go and get a pizza .My taught process by the time i get back coins will be in wallet and comfired and i can transfer then .long story short by the time i come back 30-45 minutes later my coins are gone . Belive that shit .Computer was off at the time with no internet turn on either .I really cant belive they were that quick 30 mins is all it took .Anyway guys this a fair warning to everybodys avoid electrum if you can .my mistake for not encrypted it but for what i was using for didnt think there was a need .I hope the thief burned alive in oil even taht would be to good for then .I Would pay big money out of principle to track down the fucker i tell you that much
As stated above, this isn't the wallets fault. NEVER have your private keys exposed for long periods of time, it'll never end well for you (I suppose it's good all your coins weren't in it). Are you sure you didn't set a password on it, if so, then that's an even bigger issue.
Can you send the TXid of the tansaction and the bitcoin address, there may be a way to track them. Could you also post the version of OS you were using so we can work out whch is most vulnerable (although I'm epecting it'd be one of Windows).
