I think that the btc economy would have a boost if we could buy every supply possible for parties with bitcoins. Imagine being able to get: 1) Booze 2) Better Booze 3) Bitches 4) DJs 5) Bartenders 6) Food 7) Costumes Psychotropics, oh wait, we already can get those lol 9) etc... I think it would be a great idea, what do you guys think?

Can be done through a third party. Some sites offer to purchase anything online with BTC.

I know there must be somebody on these boards who can probably afford to buy a private island and host the most bitchin' bitcoin fueled party EVER.

I was thinking about that. It could be pseudo-possible with a pre-paid credit card that allowed you to recharge with bitcoin. e.g. I spend $79 at the liquor store, get home, and send .6 (or whatever) BTC to the company which takes a small profit (1% would be fine) and credits the card with current trade rate of cash.

i think its wild that in many tech savvy cities local business are starting to accept bitcoin. i think with bitpay and other exchanges where they essentially accept bitcoin then spot-convert it to local currency will help bitpay really take off. I read somewhere that there are over 130 countries that Visa/MC/Amex cartel doesn't operate in. And as a business owner if you are clearing funds over daily you are somewhat insulated from price swings, and moreover, lower transaction fees and also chargeback-proof.
