I buy powerball a lot on a weekly basis and always wanted to start a lottery pool, then I figured it might be a cool idea to do it with bitcoin. Who would be interested in this? I'm thinking the only "fees" I would charge would be small winnings under $10 and payouts would be based on how many tickets you buy.

So if 10 tickets are bought total, you buy 5 and it gets hit, you get 50%.

I think this would be fun.  Grin

Sure, it might be fun for those who enjoy trying their luck at a lottery, but if the pool hits the jackpot how could any of the players know that you are going to pay?  Why should they trust you?
