Too Many Miners Not Enough Electricity

I have seen "Multi coin" pools for CPU, which decide what the best coin to mine is ect.

What are your thoughts on CPU mining if you have MONSTER CPU's (Dual Xenon's in each machine that actually hashes better then the top i7)

is ANYTHING worth it?Huh?

Thanks

XMR comes to mind. What you're talking about is actually a reality as there are botnets of virus-infected computers mining away at XMR without their owners knowing about it. Besides that there's not really much else that's worth CPU mining at this point in time.

I looked at XMR and it did not seem worth the power bull to leave the thing running lol

unless I did it wrong (which is entirely possibly)

As someone mentioned above, MAYBE XMR, however you won't be competing against pools but against giant botnets. Do the math yourself, but I think its not worth it.

If power costs are a concern, then this endeavor is probably not worth the trouble. (It depends on the exact power cost, however.)

Mining Riecoin (RIC) with approximately 20 computers nets me about 2000 RIC/week, $100 at time of writing. Price is down recently, on good weeks sometimes $300 is possible.

Mix of Core i5/i7
3 dual e5 v2
3 dual e5 v3

I'm mining on my own pool, https://ublock.it
Registrations currently open for a limited time. We close registrations regularly to keep botnet miners at bay. We're probably the only RIC pool that actively bans suspected botnet miners which generally results in better profits  Smiley

There are not a lot of coins still CPU mineable...
You can try XMR/Monero but you will spend a lot of money with electricity and it is pretty sure that you will lost money.
And there is the probleme of the heat/refresh of all these CPUs with 100% charge...
