[Solved] Bricked 470, is there anything I can do?

Solution is to find some old motherboard which will be able to boot such card. Asus G41 worked.

Modded bios of Powecolor AXRX 470 4GBD5-3DHDM with custom clocks/voltages, after few reflashes it pc just won't start after reboot (flashed clocks 1140@925/2050,
previously flashed 1140@950/2050 and it was stable). Post code 69 (board is ZX87-OC), same in PCI-E x16 pots, with or without riser, in PCI-E x1 card just does not show up in device manager or atiwinflash. Sadly there's no dual bios switch on this model. I've flashed lot of cards previously, had few bricks but it was always possible to boot PC with bricked card as secondary and reflash it. Now seems like card does now allow to boot the PC..

Is there something I can do except try to RMA? Like some hot-plug trick or so

First do a motherboard reset....remove all power from MB and remove battery for 30 seconds....

Try reboot....

Then

Try removing all amd drivers with AMD CLEANUP TOOL

....then start pc with no display drivers......

Check in device manager if you can then see it...

If not continue.....

In device manager also go to view>hidden devices and see if it is in there. If it is, uninstall it..reboot check again.

You probably missed the thing - the PC won't pass post. It's not about drivers at all.

First do a motherboard reset....remove all power from MB and remove battery for 30 seconds....

It's also surely not about MB bios settings, but tried, no change as expected..

Any way to pass video bios initialisation on post? Any hot plug trick?

Try this

Chipset initialization error. Please press reset or clear
CMOS.

If that don't work try

Try removing your card and hooking up your display to the motherboards onboard video output and then try F10 or Delete at boot up and try and get into BIOS SETING and disable vga and enable your on board video

if that don't work try

You'll need to use a usb drive to flash the bios.  Make sure that you place the USB stick in the correct USB slot. Placing the USB stick in an incorrect slot will not initiate the bios flash. Consult your motherboard's manual to find out which USB port is the correct one. Youtube has a ton of info on how to flash the bios .It's called  usb flashback

Already answered here that resetting mobo bios didn't help.

Now you're about USB to flash mobo bios... Wake up, i was not able to pass post! And everything is ok with mobo bios!

I've solved the problem. Found old motherboard on G41 which was able to boot with that card, dumped bios, tried to open it with PolarisBiosEditor - it was unable to open it, seems like somehow a garbage has been written there. Flashed its o/c bios back and worked fine! So if you've run into same situation, just try different mobos, the older the better.

Btw. Also tried hot replace the working card with same that can't boot - that one. Card was lost in atiwinflash (cannot determine bios..), but nothing wrong happened with cards. I've switched only signal bus with usb risers (both cards were powered). So hot swap just does not work, there's nothing to try.

You got lucky, you know that, you better be very cautious from now on. Losing a card is losing $300 minimum. You can always send back to rma but that is you not taking responsibility of your acts. Reason why I think every gpu card should be dual bios.

Yeah, every flashed bios should be dumped to verify.

Happened to me due to user error/stupidity. I tried the 1+8 paperclip trick that worked for me. Harrowing stuff though...
