Why have you chosen this currency? It seems that it's to some degree popular only in China.
No ref system at all? oO Should the project create any warm feeling from those who visit it? since at the moment I cannot say I feel it, the earning system is not obvious, the chances to win much is...well maybe only with jackpot, and then the chances are null, and sorry, on fresh websites no one believes from the start that when (in a dozen of months, haha) he has the minimal withdrawal collected, it will be paid.
And btw, adding poker would be a nice feature that helps to stand out from competitors.
Hello, first of all. This thread was bound to die, since we are re-branding the project to LuckyNano, and moving servers to France — with no incidence on players' accounts, obviously —, but before I let it sink, I will try and answer your concerns, point by point.
Why have you chosen this currency?
I believe in the technology behind this currency more than in any other alt, and wanted to create a premium service around it. It's this simple.
It seems that it's to some degree popular only in China.
Well, to put this right, it's not. Far from that. Just check Raiblocks / Nano Currency's Reddit.
Most of our visitors are from EU and US, actually. I've seen a few visitors from Japan and Philippines, but none of them are from China.
No ref system at all?
Please keep in mind that the website is currently in its *ALPHA* stages. I am the only developer on board, and I do work as a Network Engineer in a CISCO Gold Partner Company besides that, which leaves me little time to steadily add new functionalities to the website. We are currently thinking of many ways of rewarding our future user base for their fidelity, but referrals are not top priority. Right now, we are focusing on implementing our second proprietary game (BlackJack and Roulette are not), but let's get back to this later.
Besides, we do not promote the website in any way, apart from there and on a old thread on Reddit, to keep the amount of visitors growing as slow as possible — even though most come from Google directly now. 250 users are registered, and 20 log daily, which is more than enough for us to see how our code reacts live. With this number of accounts, referrals make little to no sense.
Should the project create any warm feeling from those who visit it?
Let it evolve. The color scheme, the functionalities and other stuff to create a sense of warmness and community are around the corner.
the earning system is not obvious, the chances to win much is...well maybe only with jackpot, and then the chances are null, and sorry, on fresh websites no one believes from the start that when (in a dozen of months, haha) he has the minimal withdrawal collected, it will be paid.
Well, hmm.
You partly answer your own question, and I have indirectly addressed it already. Indeed, the website is brand new, so indeed, this is a reason why very few people will fully trust it, and indeed, this is also a reason why there are not many ways of earning money from it yet.
We are first planning on adding a lottery system, with ways of getting free tickets, and a leveling system based on your activity, which will mainly increase the number of µXRB / µNANO that you get out of the faucet, and we are looking forward to implementing Oyster's system, to pay our free visitors more than with simple ads.
And btw, adding poker would be a nice feature that helps to stand out from competitors.
Poker *is* the second first-party game that I am developing as we speak (aside from Dice). It is and has
always been the end goal of Rai/LuckyNano, and will be the main game promoted in the months to come. Apart from BlackJack, which has been developed by a third-party company, and will be going under complete overall to match the beautiful design of our Poker game, all the implemented games, and those to come are meant to be secondary attractions to pass time and / or gain lottery tickets, among other stuff.
We have no ambition of earning loads of money out of these secondary games, which, for some, will even have a negative edge in favor of the player.
Alright, keyword here is *ALPHA*, and Poker is definitely being released in the days to come.
