that I need either reversed, refunded or sent to my online wallet.
The desktop wallet for this currency failed to update initially and I uninstalled it before encrypting or backing it up ;-(

You cannot reverse or refund a transaction, that is kind of a big part of crypto.

sorry for that, i think you can never reversed either refund your coins/ tokens, as you said you uninstalled it without encrypting or making a back up.. all you have to do is pray that you will somehow refund your coins or else hire a professional hacker..

Anyone who can "hack" a blockchain would be a billionaire.  your coins are gone.  It sucks.  I'm sorry.  Please don't give money to a "professional hacker" ... you'll never see them (or your money) again.

If it is lost the key may be very difficult to open it even if initially already in the back up but the most in priority should have these conditions you better try to contact the management first to find out how the right solution to re-use it.

You can't do anything because you have stated that you are uninstalling your wallet before doing a backup for that and that means the computer is forgetting all of the data that already written in your computer.
I'm sorry for your lost but you can find another coin again.

That's the negative/positive point of crypto currencies. Once a transaction is approved and coins are sent, it cannot be reversed unless someone is sending it back to you. I say it negative because once gone is gone and I say it positive because it's impossible for hackers to hack to acquire a refund on your behalf. So pay attention while doing crypto transactions and stay alert as to not sending your money into wrong addresses.

Very sorry, carelessness makes you lose your money. I guess this will not happen if you are careful. the most important part in withdraw is precision. hopefully not repeat itself.

ya that was my first attempt at a "QT" wallet, It failed to update.
The coin was potcoin.
I was certain there was nothing that could be done about it, but I thought I would give it a try anyway

If your lose your wallet, the cash inside will be lost along with it. At least with a crypto wallet you can back things up -- unlike a physical wallet holding your fiat cash.
