Hello and HELP please,

I was mining Monero with 2 RX 580 (612 H/s) for several days, no issues. Afterburner core-1340 memory-2000 power - -16 temp-74.  The issue is that mining program QUITS after 1 minute 20 seconds.  For past 48 hours, XMRig/2.52 runs just long enough to find 2 jobs. Running Claymore quit and closes after 1 min 17 seconds.  Both GPU's stop with or without running Awesome Miner.

I have uninstalled the PCI risers, cards, and drivers.  Reinstalled, and the same issue occurs.

What else can I do??
Thank you in advance,

1070ti runs fine no issues.

2x MSI single fan Radeon RX 580 8GB (Micron) stock settings, running on B250 mob, Win 10 pro, PCI-E risers, 8 GB RAM, I7-7700K, also running  MSI 1070ti Armor on EVGA 1000 watt PSU, SSD sandisk 120 GB HD. Killowatt per hour 450-510.

Thats weird that. Are your GPUs BIOS modded? Considering that you've already done the reinstalling, the only software issue is a bad timing strap pasted into the BIOS that is causing the errors. Otherwise, I would look into further hardware problems such as failing PCIE risers or loose cables.

temp-74 on 2x MSI single fan Radeon RX 580 8GB (Micron) stock settings

I guess, This one might be the culprit, try to increase your temperature limit to at least 85c

single fans are prone to high temps, monitor them if they arent reach on 74C

The GPU's have not been bios modded, stock.

Temps never reached more then 75

I took the rig apart, new PCIE risers and cables, same result. Placed each RX 580 into the one PCIe x16 slots on board and same result. It's not the hardware connecting the GPU to the MOBO.

Can clarify in more detail the, "software issue is a bad timing strap pasted into the BIOS that is causing the errors".

Thank you both!

Since you have not BIOS modded these then your problem would probably not be about the "bad timing strap" issue i mentioned. Can you clarify what you mean when you say you placed each rx 580 into one PCIE slot and got the same result? Do you mean you mined with 1 GPU only and yet it still crashed/stopped mining after 1-2 mins?

Also trying lowering you overclock settings. Try 1100 core/1900 memclock first.

Yes, as the MOBO has a PCIe x16 slot, I had just one card running on the rig and at each time the same result.

I lowered the core and memeory, as suggested, 1100/1900 with same result.  I even did 670/1700 and same, stopped mining.

Help please
