Was Anyone Here involved with Bitcoin when it was valued at mere Pennies? How many years ago was this? Anyone here buy 100,000+ and make a fortune?

Checked bitcoin when it was about $7 after the giant crash. Not when it was worth some mere pennies.

I'll make a total guess and say most went bunkers.
Buying pizza, formatting hard-drives with keys, confiscated PC with thousand of btc, etc, etc.
You're friendly neighborhood hobo might be a btc millionaire.

I was involved probably 2009 or early 2010. I started collecting them thinking they may be used in a popular online game like WoW or something new that may have come out. But once they jumped up and started being worth .50 USD to 1 USD I thought "Its never going to go higher than this, dump them, this is a fluke." And I did get rid of all but 9 BTC. And it was only because I missed an email from a person (went to spam) that wanted to Paypal me for the last 9 or 10 BTC I had. If I had caught that email I wouldnt have had any left. I really never thought they were going to go nay higher than that. Things were developing very slowly. Hell, if I remember correctly DailyBitcoins used to give away .5 BTC once every 24 hours. Then when it got up to about $1 USD per BTC they dropped it down to .05 BTC once per 24 hours and I remember thinking "What a waste of time and effort...never going back to that site."

Yeap I was, at that time it wasn't even worth to do a backup for wallets, if the wallet contain only a few Bitcoin, I just deleted them.

Hopefully in a few years time we will be asking does anyone remember when bitcoin was under $1, 000. Hopefully. The future will reveal if the common unit will be µBTC.

If someone was millionnaire cause of btc, will he still be here wasting his time? Prolly in some islands not necessarily.. Because many buy/sell thinking they can get a lot more.

I know a guy who had close to a million USD worth of BTC. He sold them over time for about 10% of that value.
