The ZWD client is not syncing for me. I don't get any connections. I submitted my address for the 1,000,000 ZWD giveaway and I want to see my million but it won't connect! Anybody willing to help?

That wouldn't surprise me. But somebody was giving away ZWD so it would seem that it is still working.

Then put some hash into it! If we're the only two connected I'll throw in some hash too and get some more millions just for fun!

I just restarted my client. Maybe it needs to rediscover the peers. I'm still getting no connections.

ZWD was never really a serious coin. The client breaks due to too many zeros if you get more than 100 blocks, something I didn't anticipate but is actually pretty accurate portrayal of the real ZWD.

If you guys REALLY want ZWD to work, someone needs to be its owner and caretaker. Its a complete coin ready to go, I can re-initialize the seednode, even restart the network with new GB's if you'd like. Someone will need to PM me and take it over, they can decide on re-launch or whatever.

I personally don't see why anyone would want to do this, but what the hell--if there are any more zacho56's out there who are dying to be their own "coin dev," maybe ZWD is your chance.
