I want to ask knowleded people about power supply for the mining rig. I have a 6 VGAs RX 580. CPU G3900, 4GB RAM, SSD, Mainboard and 2 PSU SAMA Armor 750W. I want to distribute the load of PSUs as follows:
PSU 1 (3 VGA (185W each) + 2 riser (15W each) + CPU (51W) - CPU power supply) = 555w + 30W + 51W = 636W
PSU 2 (3 VGA (185W each) + 4 riser (15W each) + Mainboard (RAM) + SSD = 555W + 60W + ~10W SSD and mainboard = 625W
But when I consulted my younger brother who had installed this mining rig, he insisted on delivering the following:
PSU 1 (2 VGA) + 4 riser + CPU + Mainboard + SSD
PSU 2 (4 VGA) + 2 riser.
I try to calculate and I saw that one PSU 750W that loads 4 RX 580 + riser (185W), it is not good. But his brother did not explain, he just said he plugged 3/3 instead of 4/2 as he told me, my mining rig will dead faster. I was too fussy to look up here to consult your brother to see how to distribute the power supply. Thank you for your help.

Some sort of advice, 750watts is not quiet safe powering up your 3GPUS especially RX580's, it can draw almost 200-250watts at the wall if unmodded, but if you tweaked it and do undervolt the 1 psu to 3 VGA is fine for me.

Thanks for your helping. My VGA is modded, so Power supply distributes into 3/3 is more safety than 4/2. Is it true?

yep, considering also your computations above it is quiet balance than 1 is to 4. have you tried checking your actual power consumptions at the wall? you can do simulations for checking.

No. I do not have the tool to calculate the actual power consumptions. But I was consult the power supply calculate tool on Internet (from AMD, and many 4rums) and I know that (the power of AMD RX 580 + riser do not pass over 220W when mining because it is used for mining, not gaming. So the power requirement is stable). An example is https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator

Thanks a lot for your helping!..
