Pentesters?

I'm quite curious, since this is a community full of computer-literate individuals, is anyone here currently employed as a pentester/security consultant or something similar?

This is the field I want to try and get into eventually and I'd like to hear your story

Nope, not me. Most of here not only know their ways around a computer but also know how to program. I'm pretty much a noob in programming though I'm trying to learn when I get some free time.
