I think that's good news for the Ethereum community. The mining is going to be POS in a few months, maybe next year, that's good for the Ethereum holders.

For Ethereum community,Maybe but it seems they want to run Difficulty-Bomb and i don't know if it will start from Oct or they just want to put that bomb and don't want to active it.
Just worry about mining and what will happen to that.

.......
What will happen to mining then?

You mean what will happened with Ethereum mining or with Whole mining? In the first case Ethereum will go to POS as said above. In the second case it's nothig horrible I think. Hashing power will be destributed among POW alts and their network will be made much stronger.

As soon as Etherium becomes unprofitable to mine, most of the Hashing power will move to the next profitable Alt coins that can be mined. People will start to mine Zcash/Monero/Etherium Classic/Decred or any other Ehtherium based coins like Musiccoin/UBIQ/DBIX etc.
All that Hashing power has to go somewhere! This could drive the demand for other Alt coins and push up their values making them profitable to mine. So we all will just move on to other coins.

After reading the keynote speech I think nothing with metropolis. It might even stabilize mining eth for about 1 year since POS is about 1 year behind.
Worst case scenario we have about 3-6 months left and than switch to another coin.
Best case, 12-18 months left than sell equipment and buy new stuff for the coin that is on fire than.
As long as you already have a rig running you should be good.

I already have one rig with 6 gpu but i want to build another rig in next week,I expect to mine ethereum for next 5-6 month with new rig but now i doubt to build a new rig.
What do you think, should i do it or not? If yes should i get GTX 1060 or 1070 for new rig that are good for other Altcoins too?

I would do it with.
6 1060's + other components = 5-6 Eth at $300 or less at $400/Eth which I think we will see once POS kicks in.
At a hashrate of 135Mhs you should get about 1 eth per month with diminishing returns. As long as you mine for 4 months eth and the price does not go below $300 you have a very high chance of getting ROI in less than 9 months. And remember you can usually sell your equipment at worst case scenario 60% value within 1 year. My calculations assume you have the power at 0.08 or below. Anything above 0.11 changes things.

Can you help me?
Thank you.
