According to Robert Hackett  on Fortune, IMF head Christine Lagarde believes cryptocurrency will advance.

She believes in comming decades virtual currencies could serve to supplant traditional monies. Her view is in contrast to some high profile persons, such as JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon and billionaire hedge fund founder Ray Dalio, who have recently shared their view against growth, as well as value in cryptocurrencies.

Good to see that there are a lot of personalities who are in the opposite side of the spectrum. It really shows that bitcoin has a lot of things to offers that's why even high profile people in the world of finance and economics have opposing view of it. Of course we like what we are reading here because she is the head of no less than IMF who we all know facilitates international trade and works with other nation to foster monetary and financial growth.

As for those who are really seeing bitcoin as another fad and will not last long like Dimon and Dalio, they need to open their minds and see what bitcoin can bring to us, casual and middle income family. Bitcoin has really a lot more room to grow and that is not what they are seeing. Too bad.

It's about time.  The crypto world cannot be stopped. Eventually big institutions and huge financial players will have to adapt or expect major disruption in their business.
The only question is how they will adapt. I hope not via Ripple!
