So this what happened:

Asked my friend to send me 1 LTC .. gave him an address, but i was bit on drunk and instead giving him my receiving address, i gave him my sending address..

I use Litecoin core wallet

So my question is, are these coins gone now.. or i can get these back somehow..

Sorry for posting this to bitcoin forum and asking advice for litecoins, but this is only decent crypto forum out there.

Thanks in advance.

Sending address? Could you tell me where you got the address you gave to your friend? Technically, it's all about unspent outputs that fund an address, so the 'sending' address should be the same as a 'receiving' addres. As long as you have the private key to sign a transaction to spend this output, all should be OK, disregarding the terminology you are using....

Sending addresses are addresses you've used in the past to send funds to. If you've added labels to them, you can easily check where the coins went. For example, my label can be "sent to Bittrex", in which case the sending address is my deposit address at Bittrex.

That depends entirely on where exactly you sent them. If you sent them to an exchange, chances are you can find them back there. If you sent them to a former business partner, you'll have to contact him and ask politely to send it back.

Core only has the private key to receiving addresses. Sending addresses are kinda like your email address book: they're not yours, but you've used them to send emails/coins.

So if i open my Litecoin wallet and choose from upper left corner File, then 2 boxes will appear:

Sending addresses...

Receiving addresses...

Sending addresses info is this: These are your Litecoin addresses for sending payments. Always check the amount and the receiving address before sending any coins.

Im starting to think these are the litecoin addresses i have used before.. where i have sent coins before, like history..? or maybe not?
If this is the actual history the coins are gone to someone else wallet.. in this case gone forever lol.

And 6 beers cost me 165 USD/1LTC on this case.

The coins were sent to this address:

https://live.blockcypher.com/ltc/address/LKLhmFihrmMUY1NJZC7vqctMWS51pYx6vp/

And looks like these coins are moved to somewhere else, i did not receive them..

If this is true, then the coins were received by GoCoin payment processor by accident, because the only addresses there can be GoCoin gateway addresses that i have used to pay for some products.. i wonder if i can contact them IF THIS IS TRUE, and could get my coins back?

What you think?

Thanks in advance.

Correct.

Correct. That leaves only one question: do you know who you sent them to?

If it's an exchange, that could be an automated process.

Try it. But when you do, include all the evidence (including a signed message from your input address), so they can instantly verify your claim. They may or may not be willing to help you, just try (and post the results here).

Check on the block explorer and search your public key, if its there then you are okay, else you probably lost the coins I believe.

Pity to lose 1 LTC cause you had a few beers, sorry mate.

Problem solved, all they needed was 1 email and i just said i made accidental transfer, they just asked an return wallet address and transferred everything back.
Props to GoCoin - all good.
