It's kind of a sad but necessary moment when revolutionary technologies go mainstream. Fortunately for us experienced, we get to profit from the market that the newbies are influencing.

The "day 1's" are reaping in the profits, while the people watching the fiat price and diving it are going to lose their shirts.

Why would you want to keep the normies out? Bitcoin is open to everyone. That's kind of the point.

We're all salivating at the prospect of massive profits but this is actually kind of a critical time. We haven't addressed the scalability issue yet, and we know for a fact that the current network can't handle that demand. Transactions are going to continue to get stuck for a while.

This is a good opportunity to hold your bitcoin. Not long ago we are all "normies" that want to profit on this new technology. Give them a chance and they will keep the bitcoin price high.

Well, CME Bitcoin Futures helped the Bitcoin to get the attention it deserves, Bitcoin became known to other normal people and non-believers. We still don't know what the real intentions of the Big whales why did they created CME Bitcoin Futures, we don't know if they have a secret agenda. If you look on the effects of Bitcoin going mainstream, you can see that the price became much more volatile and the recovery doesn't weeks and months , The price is changing every little minutes.

So for your question, we shouldn't worrying about Bitcoin going mainstream , we should worry about the other powerful forces that manipulates Bitcoin, yes i am talking about the Big Whales who are not stopping attacking/praising ( yes, it is vice versa, just search James Dimon and you will understand what i am trying to say) Bitcoin truly affects the Price Movement of Bitcoin, We should keep our eyes open/observant and vigilant on the upcoming events on Bitcoin.

Lolz. I understand where are you going with this one OP. There is not only crypto market but any other market where there need prerequisite collection of data, analysis of the same and much then we can grab the right opportunity to invest into it and then win the market. For newbies they will never do that, they will actually put mark on the raw market, jump directly into it and will put their investment at very high risk. In the process they actually made the market move upwards due to their so called raw investment, which is real money flowing into the mainstream market. Yeah truly said what happens when new comers are joining the market. :-)

I think that's a risk for bitcoin users, because today the bitcoin price is out of control, meaning that bitcoin prices go up too fast. and it disrupts the system causing it to mainstream.
the solution may be we need to be patient, and must learn that we can take advantage of this condition

I agree with jseverson. There's nothing wrong with new people coming in to this platform. One of the advantages of Bitcoin is its openness to access. What we should be putting more focus on is how to solve the scalability issue since it will result to something more complicated if this wouldn't be sorted out right away. With being mainstream comes this problems that we should be aware of and ready to face.

Bitcoin has been created to be used by everyone in any way they want. The more people who are interested in btc the more it can grow and flourish.

The main problem of bitcoin is that it is not accepted world wide. Why are you worried that bitcoin is going mainstream? Isn't that what we wish for? More people to use bitcoin? I don't understand why this makes you worry.

Do you think so? Well, that's exactly what the bitcoin users want all over the world. But the reality is not what you think mate. Maybe it happens in some countries that are the biggest bitcoin adopters. But overall, Bitcoin is still not widely recognized.

If you look at the current state, the network is still not able to overcome the number of demand from the user, so there is still need for development. In order for bitcoin to be properly used as intended. Easy transaction, fast, and cheap anywhere.

Bummer your so selfish man why keep the bitcoin and the benefit of having a bitcoin to only a selected number of person when this is open and be for everyone, bitcoin is created to gain financial freedom for people to keep them away from the evolving and never ending corruption in the government. And why the hell would you say that only newbies are the ones spreading the bitcoin???

If you are just a newbie, it will be hard to know what to do next. But, once you get the hang of it, you would be so busy that you might not even go out.

I think bitcoin's gaining popularity is a great help, you know the law of supply and demand, the more people to buy btc the higher its price so dont be selfish because it will also benifit us
