Is it a good idea to use bvrainwallets at all?
I asume it is much easier to crack a brainwallet than a random bitcoin account ?

Used properly yes.
However I would import the private keys in a wallet and backup also.
With the wallet you can use your founds more easy.
If you loose every backup with a natural calamity or seizure you just need to recover using your passphrase.

Yes it is easy unless you use a very very long and unique passphrase
