I was wondering that too a bit after the ban of exchanges, but now... I guess it is safe Wink
I think that could have been a nice news for mining in west though, because it could have become more rewarding.
Actually there was nothing like this in China what we all have seen recently. These were just FUDs that was lately confirmed by Chinese government. But still some news really call them as banning exchanges. But don’t worry they will never be banning bitcoin in their country because they know very well about it being potentially more economical factor.

When Chinese country banned the ICO's in bitcoin society, it gives large impact to all users of crypto currency. Most of coins and altcoins in the market was fall down too fast, that's why if the China banned the bitcoin mining I'm sure that it was a big hit again to the crypto currency community.

Actually there is a strong hold of China and Japan in crypto world. They are competing for the super world so they have to be indulge themselves more than anyone in this technical world that will be the sole vital factor for the future. As we have seen the previous drama of China by just banning the exchanges, now just think of mining with same perspective.

Yeah, they trying to compete the crypto world by themselves. Maybe they want to get the the top spots of crypto currency world, I think this perceptions was not give good effect to digital currency. I hope that banning and competition to crypto currency society were end. Because if they continue for long run of time increasing and decreasing of bitcoin will become abnormal.

everything involving the cryptocurrencies and governments reminds me Mr. Robot series. I think in the end they are all involved and leveraging the markets.
Today, many companies are aware of benefits of the blockchain and they are the biggest security of crypto markets.
