Those 2 seems to decrease since the BTC 'correction' , what s happening?
I was really hoping ETH to 'burst' in december but on the contrary it seems to decrease , and other altcoins increase.

Is there a particular reason?

sure, the reason is very simple,
there are a lot of sellers and not a lot of buyers

This is true, for ripple this month there should be something pretty big happening. They are going to freeze 54 billions of XRP. I dont know if it will affect the price but it may.

I believe - both Ethereum and XRP will their positions , we  just have to wait patiently. I bought a half of year ago both coins and going to hold at least one year.
