Hi i've been seeing so many coins being released which sometimes multiply upto 30x of its ico value

My question is like this
If i want to make money, where is better to invest?

A. Innovative coin that has 1 Billion coins supply
B. NOT so innovative coin but is a hype that has 27 Million coin supply

Please explain the profitability calculation if you can
