Confirmation time depends on a transactions miner fee and the miner fee should be sufficient or higher for your transaction to not get stucked. You can use this site https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ and as well as view if the mempool is loaded or not to get the most accurate fee before sending a transaction.

Now, since its been seven days already, Your transaction must have been forgotten/expired by the network as it has remained unconfirmed for too long and thus the coins should be back to you. Can you post your TXID here if you still have it? otherwise check if the coins are back

Can you show us your transaction id? With that long maybe your transaction was dropped already of the network and the funds will go back to the sending address, but because blockchain have some bug with this issue, you can check your transaction id on some explorer like blockexplorer.com if its still exist.

There is no way you would have sent a transaction successfully the right way and it would not show cause that is the only way you can get your transaction ID for verification to know if it has been confirmed or not.

How about your balance, has it been deducted ? If you can get your transaction ID, you can make use of some services[1] on the forum that can help you speed up your transaction.
