Recent record prices of BTC cause that there are more and more Bitcoin millionaires around the world. Since the Bitcoin registry is public it is possible to monitor the data of all Bitcoin addresses. Of course, the most interesting information which can be found are the top 10 richest Bitcoin addresses.
All data comes from the website Bitinfochart, which has all Bitcoin statistics up to date. According to this public information, there are more than 20 million Bitcoin addresses, but 58% of them is practically empty - those wallets have less than 0.0001 BTC. On the other hand, there is only one wallet address that has more than 100 000 Bitcoins.
