Guess what. I am clean. You see, of someone bet you with thngs like cookies. You wont be in trouble. Like if you lose the paper scissors stone to me. You gimmie the cookie. Those arent defined as gambling according to law. In order cases. We have a rule here that we cant have loans over 60 percent pa. Bitcoin solves the problem. Lime i owe you a meal today and i pay 2 meals for you next week. I am clean.

All becoz it is not a currency that is defined by law. Or de federal or whatever.

I was buying a video card to replace my broken one and the reviews used hash rates as benchmarks, so I was intrigued... Smiley

I'm glad you started gambling at such a young age. You will have a long life of poverty ahead of you. You should consider drinking alcohol and smoking while you're gambling. It makes the losing experience much more enjoyable.

I first heard about it from a friend in SeconfLife when bitcoins were 50 cents - 1$. It sounded silly and like some kind of scam when they briefly mentioned it was electronic cash and didnt say much more. A year or so later i heard about it again and i dont remember why but i looked into it. I did allot of research and stuck around and have been with it since.

July 2010 slashdot article. I CPU mined on my laptop for about a week. Sometimes it worked (http://uofr.net/~bcg/a.jpg).  But the difficulty grew so fast a few days later that I never generated another block...

Hardforks aren't that hard. It’s getting others to use them that's hard.
