Hi guys, I've been hearing TGE term a lot (synonym of ICO). It is used by companies that generate tokens instead of coins. However, some projects that generate tokens still call their campaigns ICO. Can someone please shed some light on this for me?

Very interesting question. I'm new here too and thought that in ICO there is no difference between what you generate, tokens or coins...
TGE term never heard before. How does it stand?

Token Generation Event.
So I thought that it is the new term that is about to go mainstream, but decided to ask here just in case, cause it might be something completely different for all i know:/
