I'm trying to debug why I can't post/reply to anything -- it keeps coming up with a 'most recent post was within the last six minutes' and you must try again later.

I'm posting to this help forum, on the off-chance that (a) this does get posted and (b) that the behavior is somehow tied into a particular subset of forums and not site-wide.

I'd be open to any suggestions on what I've set-up wrongly and/or need to modify.

(( and yes, I've tried logging out and back-in, then waiting 1/2-hour and then trying to post, along with overnight waits, and timed intervals of several hours ))

I'm guessing that there is something restricting posting to particular threads and/or forums.  It's odd to me, as a new member, since some of the threads are ones that I'd started, but that now seem to be closed.

Has anyone else run into this?  Is there some visual indicator of what locations the newbies are allowed to post and/or discussion about how to handle parts of the Bitcoin Forum that are off-limits?

Its also possible that this is only a temporary issue, but I'm not seeing others posting on similar issues.  So, open to suggestions.

Just adding that I thought it might be related to locked topics, but that seems to be indicated with a lock-icon, the only examples I've seen are pretty clear that its a locked topic.

Unless others have suggestions, I'll put this down as simply an oddity with our local network and something that must have been dynamically resetting.  We use Verizon, so perhaps there was something off with dynamic IPs being picked up by the simple machines forum software.  If there's suggestions on anything more to check, I'll be happy to add to the discussion.

Right now, I suspect this only impacted one person (me) and that its something that I've done wrongly as a new member.  I'll try some more posts after another day or two to see if they do get accepted.

You may have to register before you can post: click the register link above to proceed. Post people under 15 post will determine that it takes 6 minutes for you to post the next topic to prevent spam for new people while you were on 15 posts will be 1 minute that is how I calculated quickly. If you want to learn how to read the rules you will understand how to calculate
