Maybe its happen someday, the day when the hackers will make war on the government or in the other world used the internet. I think bitcoin was have a large affection if the internet war happen. Because bitcoin is used only for online currencies. And many things can buy bitcoin in online like firearms. So i think if that happen the hackers will make a plan to bitcoin how to dis appear

nothing much. Unless you imagine a situation where the internet is actually cut off, in which case the protocol will have to evolve.

It is already happening, just not on the scale you imagined. Take your mind back to the US elections and the influence of Russia and China online. Unfortunately the blockchain depends on the internet and services can be disrupted by hackers or governments with special interest.

The blockchain as it is now does rely on a permanent online network, but bitcoin itself supports offline transactions and wallets. With some protocol tweaking and a bit of smarts, even in case of an unreliable link bitcoin can and will survive.

All countries will never fight. Bitcoin is not tied to one place. Most of the capacity of the miners is in China, but I hope that after the recent statements by the Chinese government, the situation will change. Any war can complicate the lives of users of bitcoins, but to kill bitcoin is impossible.

Yes, every country won't be there in the war. At least few countries will stay away from the war prioritizing peace. This will allow bitcoin usage and secure the bitcoin to higher extent. Such a war never happens, but if something similar to that happens the impact will be very big.

If that time comes then the price of bitcoin will go down to $1 or lower, for the people will panic the seller will overcome the buyer. However there still few people that will use bitcoin.
Anyway it's still impossible to happen. Let's just relax and enjoy earning bitcoins.  Grin

Bitcoin is distributed around the world. One would need to shut down the world internet in order to stop BTC from moving on. There is a scenario where a country could cut off the connection to the rest of the world and the nodes in that country would fork off the original chain because they would not know what is happening on the original chain.

Nothing. Why would bitcoin be affected by these war of anonymous hackers over the world? Well, if I will be thinking of it, there might be a massive exchangers hacks and I think it will be affecting not only bitcoin but all the digital currencies that is being at hold by that exchangers. But I think despite that, people will still be using bitcoin.

The owners of Bitcoin are not sleeping. They are also thinking towards that direction and what to do to mitigate it if the war broke out. It is possible but the war must be fought and won to keep BTC safe.

I truly believe that Bitcoin COULD become the currency of Internet 2.0, which appears to be where we are heading. The monopolies of the big three are stifling innovation and growth.

If you have stored all your money in the form of bitcoin then you will die hungry xD coz no internet no bitcoin and not food = starvation.
Anyways if you watch " man vs wild " then you might stay alive eating snakes and frogs xD

Internet war? What do you mean by that? I didn't get your question. Is there any war on the internet? Well bitcoin still survive because it is the strong currency in all. Bitcoin don't care about the war on the internet. I think people defend bitcoin if it is get involve in the war.

For bitcoin to actually "die", the entire internet, or at least most of the world's internet would have to be shut down. This won't actually "kill" bitcoin, but it will mean that all the bitcoins in the world will be frozen and no one can touch them.

Another possible way bitcoin may die, is if the internet is slowly dying, or if some countries are slowly cutting of bitcoin, a good example was the drop when China banned bitcoin.  This means the value will slowly decrease and everyone will dump.

It is possible to happen but i can not think of any way to make bitcoin survive if there is a internet wars in the next few years. Lets hope and wish that it will does not happen. I can not imagine the possible happenings if this things happen maybe some people will try to invest much more on gold than Bitcoin because Bitcoin works in internet it was a digital currency or crypto currency . Let really just hope it will not happen.

Biggest chain with history with biggest block size and highest remaining mining power wins.
Of course in an internet war there are greater concerns to address like doing daily commerce and probably trying to survive.
Otherwise the risk is just distributed globally by nodes so if a working internet that is not closed garden still exists would run without issue except in the walled garden.

Believing in Bitcoins and it's ability to change the world
