Bitcoin adoption has always being a front burner , finding merchants that will accept it as a means of payment is always a challenge, not so with this Isreali Cannabis marketplace.More at https://news.bitcoin.com/largest-cannabis-community-market-in-israel-to-accept-bitcoin-payments/?utm_source=OneSignal%20Push&utm_medium=notification&utm_campaign=Push%20Notifications

it is true that bitcoin to date is still very difficult if we use as a means of payment because it is still rarely where the sale received bitcoin as a means of payment.

I've always said the cannabis industry is one where bitcoin could flourish and be adopted very rapidly. America seems to have been quite progressive with the legalization of cannabis at state levels, but they still lag behind federally, and as such it's still illegal and hence why banks wont touch anything to do with it in fear that they'll be punished at a federal level. Because of that, most cannabis dispensaries can't or wont accept card payments nor can they put their money into a bank because no bank will take their money. That leads to huge problems of dispensaries having to keep cash on the premises in mid-range safes that aren't ideal or use cash couriers to transport their cash to some other more secure location, which both become targets for criminals. Bitcoin could solve that problem, because as we all know bitcoin allows you to be your own bank so I could definitely see bitcoin being adopted fairly rapidly by the industry.
