I'm starting to get informed about the various cryptos we have in place and I saw that Ripple doesn't have the same philosophy behind the others, especially it's a centralized one, which is in conflict with the concept of decentralisation that we find for example in the most important one, bitcoin.

I think ripple is something that will never reach the moon like other crypto currencies. The fundamental economics of supply-demand is a big constraint for the price of ripple. But the sunny side is that the volatility is far less due to the price factor. So, if one has not invested crazily in xpr, there may be a good chance that you can make some steady (but little) money from it.

Ripple has a pretty interesting objective which is to create a blockchain serving the financial industry and cut down on transaction costs/processing times...especially in banking.
It has a lot of pros and cons, which we touch on in our blog post about Ripple:

While many don't think it's a worthy investment, if it's adopted within the industry, the coin could see another upward trajectory.

The con that makes me veer away from is its centralized in nature. Yes, it makes baking transaction fast, but this coin is an outlier for me. It defeats the purpose of decentralization.
