I recently heard about Rothscoin's ICO on Dec. 18th, 2017 and am curious as to what other think about since the info on the internet about Rothscoin is very limited. Pretty much all of the info i got about it is from their own website: https://rothscoin.io/?utm_source=icobench

My main concern is the fact that they will only be accepting Bitcoin or Ethereum as payment for Rothscoin... that just sounds like a scam to me, like a sleezy way to gain alot of Bitcoin/Ethereum while planning to neglect Rothscoin. Or maybe it could be smart because if they are paid in Bitcoin/Ethereum, the value of the payment will increase in value, whereas cash would not.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, that was my first thought also. On the Rothscoin facebook page they swear up and down that they have nothing to do with the Rothschild family.

But lets assume it was connected to the Rothschild family. If it rose from .8 to 1000, wouldnt you regret not investing just because of the name of the cryptocurrency?

IMO, if the Rothschild family wanted to create a cryptocurrency, they wouldnt name it Rothscoin lol

Not heard of them so straight away that isn't great and

a) They are connected to that family

b) They picked a stupid name that would obviously draw connections. The fact they have triangles with an eye in the middle as their logo kinda connects them.

So rather a joke or connected, both are not great. Should come up with a better coin name / logo.

The name itself has agenda,to get people attentions thats a bad strategic way to promote a coin, rothschild are the most powerful family in the world and theres no way people will buy their coin as cryptocurrencies are pro-decentralization.

If anyone was curious as to whether this ended up being a scam or not, a 5 minute check on their site doesn't scream 'genuine & successful' (see pics below).
I would guess they are making it appear as if they are following through whilst actually blowing any investments on terrible trades, hoping that one does miraculously well. No response from any accounts, website looks shit.
