Bitcoin use outside altcoin trade / ico / shady stuff

Hey I am new here, I have been looking around but haven't really gotten any information on where btc is used(beyond illegal or altcoin/ico). Heard rumors that chinese exporters are starting to use it as a payment method instead of cash / transfers. Any other avenues it is replacing real money?
