Currently we are on Bitcoin Testnet v3. Is it possible in the config file to select which testnet version the client will run on when it starts up in testnet mode? I happen to believe that testnet coins need some marginal value in order for people to effectively test non-standard transactions, however many people want to leave testnet as it. One user suggested a main-net, testnet and betanet type of idea, where we could have two testnet versions- one for true simple testing and one for testing larger economic ideas with non-standard transactions enabled. I figure the easiest way to do that would be to allow us to select a testnet version.

more or less retired.
