Hi ,
I just decided to start mining and Im having problems with choosing motherboard, what makes motherboard good for mining except ports for GPU's.I just bought 2 ATI Radeon 7950 Sapphire graphic cards and I'm planing to buy 2 more and I believe I'l need power supply that has about 1200-1300 Mw.Hope someone will reply to this.

Any board should work. Different people will have different opinions of what is "good" but it's really all up to preference. I like ASUS, myself.

Motherboard does not effect a PC performance much. If you have a SATA III 6Gb/s HDD you want one with SATA III ports rather than SATA II. You will want one with PCI-E 3.0 to optimise those cards, you will need one with 4 PCI-E 3.0 ports. It will be a big board and need a big case.

For a power supply that powerful the only good one I know about is Corsair AX1200i. It is extremely high quality.

I would think that any PSU in that power range should be fine quality. I doubt cheapos come in high power, :p.

This depends on power cost and your thoughts on volatility. Hard one to answer because different people will take it different ways.
