The blockchain is evolving, with increase in practical use cases, and number of failed ICO start-ups;
1. Which unsuccessful crypto projects will revive?
2. Which ICOs / cryptos will merge two to three years down the line?

90% of them will fail, I think the more interesting projects are the ones without tokens. We will see more rise within 1-2 years. I explain this in my video discussing ICO standards https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24c1Azp4238&t=1s

Quite a perspective, but sounds a lot more like what Vitalik said about token 2.0, what's your take on that?

My take on the subject of mergers, is that successful ICOs, will in the long run, absorb the ideas of unsuccessful ICOs, by incorporating their systems into their currently working system. The question here is, since ICOs, are currently not regulated and do not have a system for patency, crypos can absorb other projects without full compensation plan.

I think in a long perspective there might be mergers, but right now, the people just look what the others are doing and then implement it too

I think it's early to talk about M&A, crypto is far from there. We will probably see strong partnerships, and one company using another's company technology, but we are far from M&A.

But we have to remember this is just a beginning, in the future, who knows  Wink Wink

Well, it's over 8 years since the first decentralized cryptocurrency... and we have seen the blockchain technology evolve and give rise to amazing projects. It's only a matter of time before we begin to see the high stakes of demanding practical use cases as the lines between the virtual (crypto) and the real world blur even further.

IMO, I think M&A are the likely options.

But do you think M&A can bring about a new perspective on how ICOs develop, can/will it change the rate of ICOs entering the Crypto world?

With different ICOs showing similar trademarks and no way to regulate or patent the products and services; I foresee 'a survival of the fittest' down the pipeline.

I am very glad i invest some of my bitcoin on boscoin and exscudo. I believe both project are very good. They have legit team and very resposible ceo and dev. Yes it takes time to build the platform but i know its worth wait. I believe these two coin is the stratis and ark for 2018. Both will launch the platform in q1 2018.
