Hi,
I was told by a friend of mine that there was a scam accusation post on this forum that had my information, even though I never used bitcoin.
This is the topic:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=131501.0

On this post, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=131501.msg1408189#msg1408189, the user "OpenYourEyes" shows my information:

Name: Daniel Correia
Location: Portugal (Lisbon)
...

The e-mail that appears to be related to this question (danielmscorreia@gmail.com) is not even mine.

Can you do something about this? I just don't want my information in a topic like that, since I've done nothing wrong.

Thanks,
Daniel Correia

How did you find out this thread had your name?

Did you not get past "hi,"?

If this post was useful, interesting or entertaining, then you've misunderstood.

Doh!    Embarrassed

The bitcoin community is pretty small, and the chances of him having a friend that read that particular thread, and he not having anything to do about it, are pretty slim.  IMO

A friend of mine discovered it while searching pictures by our university name:

https://www.google.pt/search?q=isel+logo&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=Adu4UcH5J6ep7AajwYDAAQ&biw=1920&bih=947&sei=Bdu4UZ-vEsmM7QaLrIGYCw#um=1&hl=en&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=instituto+superior+de+engenharia+de+lisboa+header&oq=instituto+superior+de+engenharia+de+lisboa+header&gs_l=img.3...10263.10798.2.10905.6.6.0.0.0.0.117.455.5j1.6.0...0.0.0..1c.1.17.img.UVbHonjevW4&fp=1&biw=1920&bih=947&bav=on.2,or.r_cp.r_qf.&cad=b&sei=Ut24UbCgAe7Y7Ab1noCIDA&facrc=_&imgrc=apoPq-vvpxcoyM%3A%3B6NgseH2GV5bvsM%3Bhttps%253A%252F%252Fsi0.twimg.com%252Fprofile_images%252F324241777%252FIMG_1375_bigger.jpg%3Bhttps%253A%252F%252F[Suspicious link removed]%253Ftopic%253D131501.0%3B73%3B73

There is a picture of me on those results, and that picture is from that topic.

I think I can't PM an admin being a new member, and I can't find any e-mail where I can send this to.

According to the "Newbie Readme", you only need 1 post to be able to send a PM.

Right, I tried it right when I registered and thought I could't send PMs at all. I've already sent the link to this topic to a couple of moderators.

Thanks for your help.

Can any moderator/admin please look into this issue? I'm yet to receive a response to my PM to the users hazek, psy and tysat.

Should I send a PM to someone else?

Edit: Found two admins in the user search, so I sent a PM to theymos and Stefan Thomas as well.
