The auction was closed by eBay because of my "buy-it-now" note. I removed the note about that and re-listed the Avalon. Here it is right now again! http://www.ebay.de/itm/111103181091Happy bidding!

I estimate an outcome of around 12.150 EUR that would be a 90+ day ROI ... Everything else is throwing money into the fire ...

I still laugh when people scoff at 90 day ROIs, real world 9 or so years is great.

90 day ROI is assuming the difficulty stays constant, not really a realistic assumption...

VAT / customs would only be 19% of ~1000$. That's in Germany under 150€ for customs. Not that much. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

You have to pay for import taxes if you want to sell your item ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) If you use it for yourself it is ONLY 19% VAT. Electronic articles is a big amount of items. PC hardware, electronic spare parts, etc. don't have the 10%. And It's even more than the 19%. If you want to sell the items you bought, then you have to pay 20% additional. Talked to the customs in Hannover. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) 19% VAT 10% electronic parts (definite article) 20% if you want to sell the items boooya. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

20% if you want to sell the items
But that would only apply if you were doing it as business, wouldn't it. Like anybody is going to declare that and pay tax ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

If an item is being shipped within the EU I was under the impression that VAT and Import changers etc are not added on, is that correct?

Correct. Although, when you sell an item, especially for a large amount of money, you should declare it as taxable income and therefore pay taxes from it. Maybe that's what Silv0r meant.
